Buffalo Bandits forward John Tavares and Columbus Landsharks forward Pat Maddalena have been named co-winners of the National Lacrosse League Player of the Month Award for December-January. The two players received an equal amount of votes from the league's head coaches and general managers for the award. The December-January award covers games played from December 27th through January 31st..

The Buffalo Bandits announce the signing of forward John Tavares to a one-year contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Tavares is designated the Bandits franchise player.... Full Story

· Mohawk International Lacrosse becomes a supplier for the Albany and Buffalo teams of the NLL.

· Mohawk International Lacrosse has been seen in various tournaments, camps and lacrosse venues in the North East Area.

TAVARES NAMED FIRST USA BANK MVP FOR THE REGULAR SEASON 2001
Bandits Forward Wins Second Straight MVP
(Lyndhurst, NJ)... The National Lacrosse League NLL Pro Cage has announced that Buffalo Bandits forward John Tavares has been named the 2001 First USA Bank NLL Most Valuable Player.

Tavares named MVP for regular Season 2001

The popularity of the stick is catching on! At least six players from the Canadian National Lacrosse team were seen using Mohawk Thunder sticks in the 1998 World Games and in the 1999 Exhibition game against USA. One standout includes John Tavares, who in the spring of 1998 won the fastest shooting contest for the NLL. we will report it to our viewers.
